The RMS 7th grade social studies classes recently completed a walk-a-thon fundraiser for the organization, Water for South Sudan. Students contacted businesses and individuals to help raise funds. Her students raised over $2,600 for Water for South Sudan, an organization that they learned about in class.

A special thank you goes to  Beacon Tire Service and Bridgestone American Tube Business for being the major sponsors, and to the many other businesses and individual sponsors that donated funds to this organization.

Thank you also to the RMS PTO for providing prizes to the students who raised and walked the most during the fundraiser.
