About Special Education
The resource classroom provides students who are in general education classrooms with support in reading, writing, and math. The self-contained classroom serves special education students in a classroom setting. Both classrooms provide a place where education is tailored to students’ individual needs.
Meet the Teachers
Hello, my name is Jessica Boudra. I am a lifelong resident of Russellville. I began my career as a resource teacher in the Russellville district in 2016. I graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2005 with Bachelor degree in Middle-Level Education then again in 2015 with a Master degree in Elementary Education Special Education. I spent 13 years as a Reserve and Active Duty Soldier in the U.S. Army, and was in Germany and deployed to Iraq. I have three school-aged children. I love being an educator, and I so glad to be part of the Oakland Heights Elementary team!
Hi! My name is Angela Wiest. I am the resource classroom teacher. I moved to Russellville in December 2009 with my two boys. I graduated from Liberty University in 2012 with my bachelor degree in elementary education. I then went on to pursue my Master of Arts in teaching and graduated from Arkansas Tech University in May of 2015. I have been the resource teacher at Oakland Heights since 2015. My position allows me to meet students where they are academically and help them reach their full potential.
My name is Stephanie Wilson. I am the self-contained classroom teacher at Oakland Heights. I graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, and in 1983 with a master's in early childhood education. In 2005, I received my alternative learning plan (ALP) in P-4 Special Education from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). I began my career in 1989 teaching in the South Conway County School District, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and Friendship Pediatric Services. I have taught kindergarten, third-grade, fifth-grade, and special education. I enjoy working with children with special needs and helping them succeed.
