Congratulations to Tracy Guiltner – 2025 Arkansas ALE Secondary Teacher of the Year!
We are thrilled to announce that Tracy Guiltner has been named the 2025 Arkansas ALE Secondary Teacher of the Year by the Arkansas Association of Alternative Educators (AAAE)! This prestigious honor will be presented during the AAAE Annual Conference Luncheon on Wednesday, July 9 in Fort Smith, AR.
With over two decades of experience in Alternative Education, Ms. Guiltner has consistently gone above and beyond to support her students. Her approach to teaching is grounded in compassion, patience, and a deep understanding of her students’ unique needs. She builds meaningful connections and empowers each student to grow, succeed, and believe in themselves.
In his nomination, Mr. Bennett shared,
“ With over 21 years of dedication in the Alternative Learning Environment, Tracy Guiltner is an exceptional educator whose impact reaches far beyond her classroom. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to meeting students where they are, not only academically, but even more so, emotionally and personally. Ms. Guiltner creates a structured, nurturing classroom where students feel safe, valued, and motivated. She brings not only experience and expertise, but also compassion and a deep understanding of the challenges her students face. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom, taking on responsibilities like Testing Coordinator to ensure every student has the resources and support they need to succeed.
