Russellville School District is excited to announce Ashtin Pennington as the new Head Cyclone Volleyball Coach. Coach Pennington brings over 7 years of coaching experience.

Coach Pennington comes to Russellville from Dover High school, where she has served as the Head Volleyball coach for 3 years.

“Coach Pennington is a Russellville graduate and has gone on to become a successful head coach,” said RSD Athletic Director, Ben Goodman  “Her teams have qualified for the state tournament and the regional tournament at Dover.  She has had the opportunity to work under the direction of a very highly respected volleyball coach before taking over a program herself.  She brings a strong knowledge of the game and the training it takes to be a successful volleyball player.  I’m very excited to welcome a former Cyclone back home.”

Coach Pennington said "I am beyond thrilled to return to where my volleyball journey began. This program shaped me into the coach and person I am today. I know firsthand the tradition that this program has held.  My goal is to bring those standards back. I’m privileged with the opportunity to lead this program and am more than ready to get to work! Go Cyclones!”

Coach Pennington is a Cyclone volleyball alum.  She is married to her husband Nathan, and has two children (a son Hudson, age 9, and a daughter Kendall, age 3).

Welcome back to Russellville, Coach Pennington!
