The Russellville Cyclones came back to claim a 16-12 victory over LR Southwest to pick up their first win of the season, ending their 15 game losing streak.
Cyclone running back Sam Callahan had a 58 yard run down the left sideline with under 7 minutes left to claim the win.
Russellville started freshman quarterback Asher Swindle moved up from the 9th grade to become the first ever 9th grade quarterback to start in Cyclone history. He went 7 of 13 for 82 yards passing.
Kicker Jesus Perez connected on three field goals in the first half including one from 41 yards out to stake Russellville to a 9-0 halftime lead.
Cyclones move to 1-3 overall, and 1-0 in the 6A West.
