RSD School Board Approves Additional Bonus Funds for Certified and Classified RSD Staff
Russellville, AR, May 17, 2022 –In a regularly scheduled board meeting, the Russellville School District Board of Education approved an additional $750 in bonus compensation for District certified and classified staff.
The $750 bonus compensation approved at the meeting tonight is in addition to the $1,500 bonus compensation approved by the Board on November 16, 2021.
In total for the 2021-22 school year, every contracted employee will receive $2,250 in bonus compensation in addition to their contracted salary.
The $2,250 bonus compensation will be paid in tiers.
● Tier one: $750 paid by ESSER funds in December 2021 (approved by the Board on November 16, 2021)
● Tier two: $750 to be paid by ESSER funds in June 2022 (approved by the Board in November 2021)
● Tier three: $750 to be paid by RSD in June 2022 (approved by the Board in May 2022)
Tiers two and three will be paid in June 2022 and will include new hires from the Spring 2022 semester. For the June 2022 payout, employees must be employed by the District through May 31, 2022, to receive compensation. In total, the June 2022 payout will be $1,500.
