RUSSELLVILLE Ark.- Russellville School District has announced Marcia Correia as the new London Elementary Principal. Mrs. Correia will be transitioning from her most recent role as a Russellville Intermediate School teacher.
Mrs. Correia is a long-time employee of RSD. Her career at RSD began in 2003 at Oakland Heights Elementary where she was a Classroom teacher from 2003-2015 and a Science Facilitator from 2015-2020. Before teaching at RIS, Mrs. Correia was a Cyclone Virtual Academy Teacher where she was responsible for the 3rd-5th grades curriculum.
Mrs. Correia’s husband, Rick, has also been a long-time RSD employee. He is currently Assistant Football Coach at Russellville High School. The Correias have three children who attend RSD: Madison (Senior), Brooklyn (7th Grade), and Madden (2nd Grade).
Mrs. Correia commented, “I am very excited to begin this new journey with the Russellville School District. This is a great opportunity to build new relationships with the London staff, students, and community. Relationships are the key to success.”
