At this month's RSD Staff Ambassador meeting, ambassadors discussed the crucial safety measures in place to protect our students and staff with RSD Safety Director, Mr. Terry Cobb.
Ambassadors also heard from RSD Technology Director Mr. Thomas Rice, who provided a behind-the-scenes look at how the technology department serves the District.

🌟The Faith Council then heard from Crawford Elementary School Principal, Ms. Shavon Jackson, who spoke about Crawford's successes and service needs. Exciting conversations were held about ways to expand mentorship opportunities across the district!

💡The December Community Champions for RSD meeting was full of meaningful and engaging discussions on student success at RSD! RSD Superintendent Dr. Ginni McDonald shared insights on the recently released ATLAS test scores and how RSD is addressing student learning. 📊
Oakland Heights Elementary Principal, Mrs. Lynette Ditto, highlighted OHE's incredible achievements in Capturing Kids' Hearts, Professional Learning Communities, and High Reliability Schools and the positive impact these frameworks have made on students and staff.

📖 RSD School Board members Donna Hindsman and Wesley White attended the Arkansas School Boards Association conference this week with Dr. Ginni McDonald, RSD Superintendent.
At the conference Dr. McDonald and Public Relations Specialist, Samantha Ballew, presented on stakeholder engagement to share how RSD is building connections with students, staff, and the community as a whole!

✨The RHS Quiz Bowl team finished the first half of their season with a 2nd and 3rd place finish last weekend at the state's largest quiz bowl tournament, hosted at Little Rock Southwest High School!
🏆The team currently sits at 38-2 with five tournament championships along with six 2nd place finishes! The Cyclones will be going for their 9th state title this upcoming spring!

Meet Ayansh Patel, a 3rd grader at Sequoyah Elementary, known for his curiosity, creativity, and solution-oriented mindset!
When asked how he keeps a goal set in mind at Sequoyah, he said “If I mess up on a painting, I don’t give up. I'm not a quitter. I make that mess up into a whole new drawing”

Grayson Smith is a 6th Grader at Russellville Middle School. Recognized in 5th grade for being a responsible citizen, Grayson continues to lead by example through his kindness and willingness to help others.
