10 students from RHS just returned from the Educators Rising Competition in Orlando, Florida, where they attended workshops and training sessions while also presenting in competitions such as Lesson Plan Design, Public Speaking, and Ethical Dilemma. Beginning the 2023-2024 school year, RSD will implement Smart Start Mondays in which all RSD schools will begin one hour later to provide instructional staff time to plan and collaborate on instructional practices for remediation or acceleration based on student needs. Community information sessions: The District will be hosting Learning Sessions for families to learn more about Smart Start Monday implementation.
