RHS FBLA students, Mattie Berry, Anthony Rivas, Averee Fallias, Madison Young, Daniel Antonio and advisor, Mrs, Lewis visited with students at RJHS in Mrs. Riley’s Business classes about Social Media Safety. The FBLA students discussed how social media impacts students’ future, the positive and negative impacts of social media, how to avoid scams and hacks, and how to practice social media safety. The students also discussed what colleges, recruiters, and business owners are looking for when viewing social media accounts of prospects. This presentation was a part of the Social Media Safety campaign these students launched at the High School this year encouraging students to practice healthy Social Media practices. These students met with fellow students discussing social media concerns, posted a Social Media Policy in which RHS students could scan a QR code and sign the policy, and promoted the Social Media policy throughout the school. A big thanks to RHS FBLA for being great examples of properly using social media and encouraging others to do the same! #ForwardRSD
