Cyclones Represent at All-Star Weekend 🏆 The Arkansas High School Coaches Association had their annual All-Star Weekend at the University of Central Arkansas from June 19-22. Multiple Cyclones were selected to represent the West side of the state. 🎉 Ariyana McDaniel and Victoria Taylor performed on the West All Star Dance Team, where they cheered on Cyclone Brenna Burk to victory in the All Star Basketball Game. Coach Aubrey Howertonwas named the Assistant Coach for the West Dance Team and helped prepare her team for 3 performances during the Basketball and Football games! Summer Office Hours | July 2024 All District offices operating during summer will be open 7:00 a.m. - 4:50 p.m. Operating offices will be open 4 days a week. The schedule is as follows: Week of July 1-5: Open Monday - Wednesday; Closed July 4th - 5th in observance of the 4th of July. Week of July 8-12: Closed Monday July 8th; Open Tuesday - Friday. All operating offices will operate under normal hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m) beginning the week of July 15th. Cyclones Quiz Bowl Teams win First Ever National Championship!🏆 🥇 The RHS Quiz Bowl Team won its first ever national title winning the National Academic Championship tournament on Sunday afternoon. The Cyclones went 6-0 at their regional tournament in New Orleans in May to qualify and defeated teams from Corpus Christi, Little Rock Central, an international team from Dubai, and Parkland High School (from Pennsylvania) in the elimination rounds to earn the overall title. Championship team members include Will Stump, Keegan Fuller, Ian Warnick, Matthew Fox, Gidian Fuller, and Alyx Dunaway. 🎉 In addition to the championship, RHS had another very impressive showing by having another varsity team reach the quarterfinals . This team featured Hayden Daniel, Claryn Nupp, Crawford Rash, Sarah Shoptaw, Zion McArthur, Avery Feemster and Noah Wooten. Congratulations Cyclones! 🎉 #GoCyclones #OneRSD❤️ 🌪️ 🖤
